Who the heck are you?
Carbon-based life forms of a collective mind working cooperatively towards a common goal. What? That's not what you meant? Oh, sorry. We're Bellingham Hot Tub & Fireplace -- a teeny-tiny Mom & Pop Shop run by nice local folks.
Ya been around fer long?
'Bout 11 years now!
Why should I buy stuff from you? Where's the security? How do I know I won't get ripped off?
We're a small store. If we didn't make our customers happy and give them good value, we would have been out of business a long time ago. This is the internet age, where one dissatisfied customer can ruin the reputation of a small business with a few keystrokes. Since we'd all like to keep our jobs and stay in business, our first and foremost goal is to make sure our customers are happy enough to tell their friends and come back again!
Seems like small businesses are dropping like flies these days. How do I know you'll be around to service what I buy from you?
Despite the sorry shape of our economy, our business is diversified enough that we are never out of work. Selling, installing, and servicing hot tubs & fireplaces is only one of the many things we do (see the "links" page to check out our other businesses). We stay out of trouble, we pay our bills and our taxes on time without fail... we ain't goin' nowhere!
Why can't I find you in the phone book anymore?
Because after 11 years we're finally learning. After surveying our customers, we discovered that the vast majority of them found us on the internet. We thought, "why keep spending a small fortune on phone book adversiting when most everyone finds us on our uber-cheap website?" And that was the end of that. It was kind of a no-brainer.
